Letz Cycle

Letz Cycle - A Green Initiative in collaboration with the HAL Tax Payers Association held on 24.1.2016

Letz Cycle is an event that promotes a healthy and environmental friendly lifestyle. Participants on cycles took to the streets of Indiranagar to raise awareness on the importance of recycling. The Students of The Indiranagar Cambridge School, in large numbers came fully geared with their bicycles for this cause. The students were eager to do their bit with regard to creating awareness about the increasing garbage, waste management (segregation and composting), traffic congestion (Take up cycling) to make the neighborhood more green, eco friendly and beautiful.

The Indiranagar Cambridge School gave away cloth bags as goodies to the deserving participants, with the message to do away with plastic. Flyers with the information on Waste Segregation were distributed among the people present.

In one of the earlier initiatives taken by the School, the Students in groups monitored by staff members made door to door stops in the neighbouring localities, visiting around 500 homes, educating the residents about waste segregation and distributed the flyers printed by the School
